The Howard Feiertag Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management is the proud home of two excellent peer-review academic journals. In July 2021 The Journal of Travel Research received the highest impact factor of any Hospitality and Tourism Management Journal (10.982). JTR is co-edited by Professor Nancy Gard McGehee, Feiertag HTM faculty. The Journal of Information Technology and Tourism is the first scientific interdisciplinary journal focusing on the nature and role of information technology within the context of tourism, travel and hospitality. JITT is edited by Dr. Zheng Xiang, Department Head and Professor of Feiertag HTM.
